What We Treat — South Surrey, BC
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your jaw to your skull, and when it's irritated, everyday things — chewing, yawning, talking — become painful.
What it is
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your jaw to your skull, and when it's irritated, everyday things — chewing, yawning, talking — become painful. Jaw problems rarely travel alone: neck posture, clenching, and stress are usually part of the picture.
How we treat it
Treatment combines hands-on work for the jaw and upper neck, specific exercises to restore smooth jaw movement, and practical strategies for clenching habits. If a night splint would help, we coordinate with your dentist — jaw problems respond best when the dental and movement sides work together.
